About Engineer Alpha
There’s a lot to be done and you have to do it alone. Assemblers, furnaces, and engines are your allies and the only way you can get it all done. Build monstrous and contrived contraptions that produce a starship load of parts. Fuel your machinations with wind, coal, steam and more as you harvest the resources of the land for your use.
There are many automated machines to build and connect in Engineer Alpha. Windmills, Constructors, Steam Engines and more all can be joined together so that can do your work for you. Buildings can be connected together in multiple ways including; rotational shafts for power, pipes to transfer fluids, and conveyors and tubes moving Items. As Constructors craft one kind item into another the factory gets more complex with every step and it never stops growing.
The planet you find yourself on is very resource rich however it is quite primordial. Change and shape the land in your own image in order to create a world of your own. The entire world is editable and can be changed to your heart’s desire. Whether you want to build a humble shack with a massive basement or a warehouse size factory you can do it.
Everyone needs to eat and engineers are certainly no exception. Grow and harvest your own food by hand or with automated farms. Enemies and combat are planned for a future update to enhance the survival experience.

What Steam players say

Give this one a few more years to cook and hopefully it'll be worthwhile.
#1 the nae is horible you find everything execpt the game almost no one has videos on this game finding out how to do stuff is awfull almost noone plays this game so noone helps
This game has a potential. Even though currently I cannot give a thumbs up, I can easily change my vote once these two issues are resolved: 1- Crashes way too often. 2- Lacks in game and Youtube video tutorials
I have seen this game grow and grow. It has come along way.I think it has a lot of good game play.
This is very, very early access. The whole world is just one single biome that just seems to repeat itself every few hundred feet or so, so there's no real reason to explore, and the graphics and animations are very basic. However I will say that the skeleton of a solid automation game is there, but it needs a heck of a lot more meat on its bones to be worth playing. If you're debating whether to buy this, my advice would be to wishlist it for now and then consider buying once it's fully released.
Update: sadly the game is no longer being updated. fun for a bit needs alot of work tho. needs a bit more work. but i love the consept and i can see this being a good game. still good game even now
