the factory must grow1 found this helpful
This is a really fun build everything from scratch to eventually creating an advanced high tech factory so you can eventually build and fly a rocket to escape from an Alien occupied world which you first crash landed onto and depending on your settings will need to defend yourself and your factory against these aliens who grow and multiply over time (Customizable experience). (if you get all the DLC) the game progresses into then getting to go and build futuristic factories on other different worlds after you first escape the starting planet.
too addicting
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After approximately 7,364 hours, 42 minutes, and 13 seconds of gameplay, I can confidently say that Factorio is the single greatest industrial hyper-optimization simulator ever created. I have transcended the concept of "playing the game" and have entered a state of complete factory enlightenment where belts, inserters, and production ratios are no longer objects but spiritual extensions of my own computational consciousness. My first mistake was thinking the goal was to launch a rocket. Foolish. The rocket is merely a side effect of achieving true infrastructural supremacy. I started with a simple iron plate setup like every beginner. Then I made the fatal mistake of asking myself, "What if the iron plate production could be 0.0003% more efficient?" That single thought consumed my entire existence. Three weeks later, I had replaced my entire factory with a 19-layer recursive ore refinement ecosystem powered by synchronized uranium compression turbines and a self-correcting belt harmonization algorithm. My friends asked me why my factory had 47,000 belts moving in circles. They didn't understand. The belts were not moving resources. The belts were moving destiny. I …
