It’s a fun roguelike, but it has a few annoying issues. Targeting feels inconsistent—sometimes I have to aim manually, sometimes survivors switch targets on their own, which gets frustrating once you have four or more survivors. Positioning is also annoying since I have to manually manage spacing to avoid back attacks, with no other way to handle it. Enemy variety is pretty limited, too, so things get repetitive.2 found this helpful
i love the RNG, the risk management and the storyline is every good. i do complain alot that the character have to manualy reload the gun whey ran out of ammo. a situation as they need my permission to borrow some ammo :V they also need my permission to attack even with the melee. they could have like pursue the enemies and help the other on their own while on the melee mode. during the attack may have some micromanagement issue, although you can like pause the game and give order but god dayum using the mouse to control has alot of missclick and accidently control other character to move and leave them out of position at time :V personally i let them auto attack because controling them is hassle if they dont do anything on their own especially when you have more then 4 survivors clump up together to manage. and the enemies is likely to be more then 7 and clump up together making it harder for me to tell them what to target. so telling them to attack and then tell them again to attack other target is a stressful thing to do i have one survivor who just sit there not attack back after taking down its target in front of him , there where two zombie in front of him ,he kill …
i only played long to get grind cards. but game is bad, its borig, its has hard contorl sna dluck is just bad in it
It's a good game, the ambience is good despite the cover is plagiarism. The DLC is not so good, only an extra scenario with The walking dead shane rick lori story
This game is just not it. Everything about is just frustrating and annoying, ranging from nearly all the mechanics being tied to RNG, to the boring art style and graphics. The combat feels rough and unpolished, with you having to constantly re-target your people on to new zombies and enemies, with no auto targeting options. The majority of the game is just text events that are decently written, but you soon learn what each event does and it quickly becomes stale. This game feels awfully hard and unfair when you don't know how to fight the zombies efficiently whilst your learning the game, as fleeing battles is quite punishing. However it becomes incredibly easy once you know how to take on the zombies and it really just becomes a matter of grinding out more resources to survive and make it to the end, even on hard difficulty. Take a look at the steam trailer. That is quite literally the whole game shown there and if that doesn't convince you this game isn't worth it or what I've said above doesn't either, then I'm not sure what will convince you. Though to be fair everything I've said could be excused as I believe there is only one developer and a handful of other su…
About 13.5% have finished the game with the only starting character. (There's an achievement attached) Don't think I have to justify it any further.
