About Morph Girl
SUMMARY
Morph Girl is an FMV game developed as a homage to 90/00's low-fi Japanese horror movies. Inspired by home VHS tapes, Morph Girl intends to evoke the most personal fears surrounding the presence of the unknown within one's home.
STORY
Elana Pierce is a grieving widow that cannot seem to move on following the tragic death of her wife, Rebecca. When a mysterious, supernatural being begins to force itself into her daily life – playing upon the memories of the dearly departed – she must make the decision to embrace or reject the creature.
Will you reject its invitation? Or embrace it?
FEATURES
- FMV - Immerse yourself in Elana's world via real-world footage evoking a family's home VHS tapes.
- BRANCHING NARRATIVE - Make decisions that alter the course of the narrative – as well as events long passed.
- MULTIPLE ENDINGS - Unlock all 6 endings and find your conclusion to Morph Girl and Elana's story.

I really liked the game. Its unsettiling due to using real life filming. I liked that they put in old movies, using them as achievements was a bit annoying though. Still really nice, i really enjoyed it. I can really highly recommend it.1 found this helpful

Haunting...
While this isn’t a fun game, it is done very well for what it is. A close look at loss and depression. Not exactly fun topics. Not for everyone.
I can't call this a bad Package, not really. I can call it all sorts of confusing and a really hard sell, but not a detrimental experience at its core. its just a little confusing, and the True Ending is really anti-climatic for the sake of being "Open for Interpretation". But the story kept me hooked for all the endings. And despite me not liking the Sadako Monsters design, I did enjoy what it represented and what it actually wanted plot wise. But the most baffling bit of this game to me, is that it pads its run time with optional movies, that you can just watch at specific points. Not home movies made for this game, Full Public Domain pictures the dev just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inserted into the environment and let you watch, two whole entire films. And you get achievements for sitting through them both. I am actually, truly baffled by this creative decision. they don't even tie into the rest of the game, one's at the very end literally in the room before the final climax of the story for Christs sake. I payed 1.25 when it was on sale, I think I would've gotten my money's worth if I threw in the full 5 bucks. buy for a simple story about grief if you enjoy such things.
Pretty good. Not much to it. Not scary or anything but it was ok to play. It is just a point and click a choice kind of story.
