The 3d bits are okay. The 2d art looks okay too but the sprites are cut out in crappy ways and also insanely stretched and blurry in some scenes which makes it look like they've just been ripped off of a low-res thumbnail of a better quality picture. The movement, controls, UI and gameplay are atrocious. I guess getting the achievements is fun. Can only recommend if you have really, REALLY nothing better to do and want to give money for a game which comes off as if it was a writer's group assignment for school. The writer forgot about it but remembered a couple hours before the deadline. The programmer, animator and tester didn't even show up to help.

You are just a normal loner, but due to unforseen events theres now a ghost bound to you, and the people involved are looking for her. The game looks great and the plot is actually somewhat unique, chapters can be repeated to view different outcomes. All the art is made with AI, it wont take you long to notice the inconsistencies, but hiring artists is expensive, so I understand. If anything, it helps the game being a bit more uncanny. Paranormal Girlfriend is a visual novel/first person hybrid game which while being rather quirky and bizarre is still quite fun in it's own right offering multiple endings. The core of the gameplay involves you as the main character, a lonely guy, starved for love suddenly finding yourself haunted by the spirit of a girl and the two of you trying to find the mystery of why she appears to be bound to you. Most of the game takes place through visual novel type scenes where you must make choices to avoid death. The game often gives you options on what to do and as a result you will progress to the good or true ending or you will meet a sometimes horrible death instead. There are also first person exploration sections where you walk around in a 3D environment and try and escape enemies in chase sequences and find items (one of which is key for the true ending) , This breaks up the VN sequences well. In terms of the games "quirks" the character artwork is really weird and stretched in the VN sections often clipping through the 3D backgrounds and feeling really out of place. I'm not sure if this is an aesthetic choice but it's not a great look in my opinion however it dosen't get in…
