1 found this helpful

"Return NULL - Episode 1" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Return NULL". Return NULL is an abandoned series of point and click adventures set in a familiar dystopian society under oppressive rule. You play as Jack Drebin, a security force member whose predictable life is thrown into disarray. The player clicks through environments, engages in dialogue, collects items, and solves puzzles, occasionally participating in rudimentary shooting sections. At least that's how the developer presents it. The developer deceptively pushes this as a free product but the actual intent is to get people to buy the other chapters through ovepriced DLC. Except nobody wanted to because the quality was way too low, so the developer gave up and stopped making chapters like 10 years ago. This is just unfinished pollution and advertising on the Steam store, and has no merit aa a full game. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Return NULL, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them…
Unpolished, short choose-your-own-adventure game with no voiceovers, irritatingly loud music and severely underdeveloped story progression
