This is a Nintendo Switch game that was ported to PC. It plays a bit like a reverse Vampire Survivor, or one of those zombie horde Flash games where you control a horde of monsters (in this case undersea horrors, once more an amateur developer has dug up the corpse of HP Lovecraft to abuse his legacy). Being designed for the Nintendo Switch, while the idea might be seen as appealing, the gameplay is clunky and awkward. You have to use WASD to move a cursor around and then tell your minions to attack at the right moments as all the puny humans run away from your eldritch horrors. Ok, the theme is fun, but the game sucks. It's slow, plodding, and you'll quickly lose interest after the first couple of levels. I did. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. Because this is designed for handheld/portable gaming appliances, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the low power handheld gaming appliances that the game was designed for. It's a game that you will absolutely love at the start and by the end you will hate it with a sheer frustration.
It's like a really nifty game you'd use to find on Kongregate, really fun, and funly janky.
WASD WASD WASD WASD... exhausting and boring af
A unique and enjoyable slaughter. Worth your time and attention with vibes and art that make me want more eldritch in all my games. The story is fun and simple too and it has decent replayability.
