- Play as one of four eldritch horrors: Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, Shub-Niggurath, or Yog-Sothoth.
- Mutate Your units with special powers in order to gain a tactical edge on the other Gods.
- Take out your paintbrush and unleash Cthulhu van Gogh--You have the ability to draw Your own lands out of nothing.
- Explode nations through Your sheer, raw Power. They do not return.
- Force shoggoth slaves to build horrible structures and even more horrible units.
- Explore a research tree that unlocks new eldritch abilities. And the best part, You progress through the research tree by sacrificing Your poor, dirty humans.

- Unleash powerful magick through the Focus tree, which changes dynamically based on Your chosen deity.
- Because of all the horrible screaming You cause, elder monstrosities like Father Dagon and Mother Hydra will awake and invade this world. Appease them, and they can do great, terrible things. Anger them, and their wrath will be sizable, but puny.
- Play singleplayer and test Your wits against the nefarious AI!
- Or, play online with up to 4 of Your friends and enemies!

✦ AI summary
Players praise this indie strategy game's Lovecraftian theme and Risk-like gameplay with 4X elements, noting it offers solid entertainment for the price with ongoing developer support for improvements. Common complaints center on the game feeling rough and unpolished, lacking single-player depth and campaign content, and having readability issues that make it harder for new players to understand mechanics.
Im a big cthulhu fan, and like to support indie devs but I honestly can't recommend this game at the pricepoint I purchased at (£10). Nowhere near polished enough, feels like a game jam game.8 found this helpful

I love consuming the entire population and hearing the screams.2 found this helpful
I've played with 3 out of 4 available Old Ones and can say that I do recommend the game. The gameplay is mostly Risk with some minor 4X elements, like building buildings, units, researching new technologies and upgrading the Old One powers. It is purely combat oriented which limits the potential a bit, however the general feel is nice and the Lovecraftian themes are well used. The developers are still working on post-release development so some weak points may yet be addressed, but as it is, the product is already worth the price tag and the deal may only get sweeter in the future.2 found this helpful
Nice risk like strategy game with a bit more depth if you look deep enough. Looking forward to some single player updates to add some replay ability to solo game play, A Campaign like update will be great. Working on the readability of the some of the info would be helpful for new players.
