The Rosebud Condominium is a fast-paced, hidden object game with a lot of twists and themes to make it challenging, fun and feeling less repetitive. The story is about Sarah, she's an architect that got hired by a grieving man to build the tallest building in the world, just because his wife her last words were "TALLER!" The sky isn't the limit for her new boss, so she keeps building, even in space. She's also a single mother and doesn't give her daughter any attention while she looses herself in this project. Eventually she tells her boss she can't build any higher because they are stressing the fabric of space-time, but he's demanding her to keep on building taller! The entire building collapses, they created a big bang and the boss finally sees his dead wife, and she's saying "Oh silly, That's not what I meant when I said taller!" You see Sarah with her daughter at her school with a A+ on her test and nothing gets explained any further, which is a little disappointing. The game gets harder as you progress and each hidden object is random which gives it a lot of replay value. There are different stages with their own theme and twists to make it more challenging.
Wait For a Sale
This is a well-made hidden object game that will keep you busy for a few hours. There are 48 levels and I only had a few issues throughout it all. I wanted to 3-star every level, so I had to find every item it asked within a short-ish amount of time. I had to restart a level about 5-10 times total because the item I was supposed to find was hidden behind another item and I couldn't see it. It rarely happened, but was quite annoying when it did. The only other issue is that sometimes the levels can be very distracting and disorienting with the way the level tries to make it harder for the user to find the items. Some of the later levels made me feel a bit nauseous because of the rapid movement of items. It's a fun, fast-paced hidden-object game that I enjoyed quite a bit, however the $10 price tag may seem steep to some people, since the game lasts about 2.5 hours. There is a bit of replay value though, since the items scattered throughout the levels are always randomized, you could continuously replay levels and get different objects to find each time. I enjoyed this game and would recommend picking it up if you are interested in casual games, and especi…4 found this helpful
This is a very simple 2D retro pixel hidden object puzzle game with a timer. Click through various pixel homes to select various objects. Implementation wise, this one gets a fail. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Despite the low quality visuals, they're charging a whopping $10 USD for this mobile-esque clicker shovelware. The same price would get you proper PC games like Rome: Total War, Frostpunk or Portal 2 on sale. This game is nowhere in that league, it's impossible to recommend.2 found this helpful
Fun, creative look-n'-find. Some of the gimmicks felt like torture by the end (mainly the swapping rooms) but overall I appreciated how the game mixes up the challenge. The different zones were also a nice touch. The story is ridiculous in a good way -- although I wish there was a little more of it and that it didn't fizzle out at the end. I had a great time with this one overall!
The game presents elements commonly found in this genre. While the style is intriguing, it could benefit from some design improvements. On the positive side, the graphics and story visuals are appealing, with a variety of objects to discover and evolving themes that introduce engaging distractions and challenges as you progress. However, it would be advantageous to have a wider zoom to minimize scrolling, and the storyline is quite simplistic and lacks coherence. Additionally, some themes in certain levels feel mismatched (though this is acceptable in later stages), and some items are obscured by others. The overall length of the game feels somewhat short relative to its price. Ultimately, I found enjoyment in the game, and if you seek a hidden object experience with minimal narrative, this title may suit your preferences. In this game, you assume the role of Sarah, a single mother and aspiring architect, who receives a commission from the mysterious Boss to construct an expansive tower that reaches beyond the limits of Earth. However, as Sarah's construction ascends, she attracts the attention of Craig, an unassuming Canadian determined to halt her progress. The Rosebud Condomin…
Recommended, but not for the asking price. A straightforward hidden object game without the story depth found in typical games within this genre. Interesting style, but could benefit from some design adjustments. On the upside, graphics and story images were nice, various objects to find, changing themes as you advance with interesting distractions/obstacles. On the downside, would be better if zoomed out a bit to reduce scrolling, bare bones story that made no sense, blended themes in some levels didn't make sense (ok for the later levels), some items were hidden behind others and the length was a bit short compared to the price. In the end, I did enjoy the game and if you are looking for a hidden object game without much of a story, then you should enjoy this as well.
