This is more of a light adventure with some hog scenes. The adventure, story part takes precedence with some very unique puzzles thrown in . It features an engaging story about an often misjudged hero, of the 20th century Tesla and some parts of this story are true(well except for the time travel etc.) I really enjoyed it, but it is a tough one. The puzzles are not exceedingly hard but really make the player think . I really tried to avoid the skip button and it was so satisfying to succeed! There is a map but no fast travel and indeed not much guidance , which is what adventure gamers are used to! You have to pay attention to what you find and read. The hogs are sporadic and not junk piles. Heartily recommended.8 found this helpful
That was a good bit of fun. Entirely worthy for a different sort of pace. Best $2.50 value i've come across on steam.1 found this helpful
One of the best games of this genre I have played. I would buy games made by these people again in a second.1 found this helpful
Interesting story, bringing together Tesla's ghost (?) and his young relative to try to repair unfortunate events of the past and improve the present. There is very good voice acting. The story is complex, and it would be lovely to just follow it if there weren't so many distracting details and struggles over trivia. Lots of hidden object puzzles and many other required actions, some of which involve almost random trial and error, such as flipping switches on a sort of circuit board to achieve needed connections. A certain amount of uncalled-for tediousness makes the game longer than it should be. You have to be extremely persistent to find the hot spots where a given prescribed action should take place, for instance the mopping up of water at the hotel entrance and the squeezing out of the sponge in an extremely uncooperative bucket, over and over again. Is this really essential to the story, dear developers? It's completely idiotic, is what I think! But at least there is a workable save routine, so that you don't have to redo a whole sequence of actions just because you had to pause, exit the game, and take care of something in real life. So, overall, maybe a B or B-min…
10/10, you can pet the sphinx cat. Hmm? Oh, yes, sure, there's also a solid hidden objects game, fully-voiced and fairly good-looking.
I really enjoyed the story in this game. There are no bonus games, wallpapers, music or collectibles. There is a map, but you can't jump to locations. I hope they make a sequel. -HOPs are well-drawn -puzzles - mechanical, electrical, using tools and parts -point & click, finding things and applying them -female protagonist -good voice acting
