About Transparent Black
Transparent Black is a little adventure role-playing game with multiple endings that can be cleared in half an hour, set in a classroom when it's already after school, in which you play as a hopeless girl.
You can choose to skip descriptions on blood and violence while starting a new game round.
You can't play as a goat here, but at least there is a knife.
It's kind of a puzzle game with very simple puzzles suitable for novices.
So at least some people thought it's a good game.
You have enough time to play it through and then ask for refund.
Reason for not doing so: I beg you not.
P.S. Any reply to questions on sequels is not an official reply.

This is an interesting non-sequel to LR Studio's other game, Confess My Love. However, despite these two games being in what is inferred to being the same universe, they are vastly different. Transparent Black is from the perspective of Liza, and experiencing the bullying she goes through. There are multiple endings to this game, very similarly to Confess My Love, only this one is much shorter and has more depth to it. It explores how badly kids can be bullied, in addition to how far some kids will go to bully people. It's a simple, short game, but it's something that is very plausible emotionally (though the outcomes definitely are extreme). Some of the achievements are story-based, though I do appreciate the challenge that comes with a few of them. As an achievement hunter, I really do love being able to attempt getting them. I especially enjoyed the little tribute to Confess My Love and found it a neat way of integrating it into the game itself. While it was short, I thought it was an interesting game worth its price, and definitely worth the time I put into it. Would definitely recommend playing it.1 found this helpful
Transparent Black is OKish RPGMaker game to pass some time. Just like Confess My Love, it has multiple endings where it may be tricky to find how to unlock different endings without a guide. The translation is rough, although it's good enough to understand it. But on some occasions, a few characters of the text got cropped which is annoying. This is an informative review, where I chose positive due to its low base price. If you decide to buy this game, make sure to buy the DLC since it complements the base game's story.1 found this helpful
Transparent Black is a short yet emotionally intense indie adventure created and published by LR Studio, and despite its modest scope, it delivers a surprisingly layered narrative experience. Set primarily within the confines of an abandoned classroom after school hours, the game casts players as a troubled young girl navigating both a physical space and a deeply psychological one. From the outset, the atmosphere is heavy with unease. The setting is familiar in a mundane sense, yet the emptiness and silence transform it into something oppressive. This contrast between ordinary surroundings and extraordinary emotional tension becomes the foundation of the entire experience. The gameplay is rooted in exploration and light puzzle-solving, but its mechanics are intentionally restrained. Players move through the classroom, interact with objects, and trigger events that gradually reveal fragments of the story. There is no combat system, no complex inventory management, and no traditional RPG progression despite the game’s classification. Instead, interaction itself becomes the core mechanic. Each examined desk, note, or environmental detail contributes to a slow unraveling of the protag…
Cute, Yet Horrifying
Transparent Black tells the tale of a girl, suffering in silence, a victim of bullying from the many kids in her class. There only remains one person, who has her back, but is that enough? Or, has she already fallen too deep? The game has a couple of endings, with a few extra achievements sprinkled in there, as well as a secret achievement, being a reference to a previous game. I love how the game only uses black, grays, white and red for the colour palette, it makes the game all the more eerie. If you've played Confess My Love, then you'll know what to expect. If not, I suggest you play that first. It's a lot longer than this game, but it gives you a broader understanding of the dark world the developers have created. Naturally, I recommend this game, it's super short, but well worth its price! It may even be somewhat relatable to an extent.
Great Game! Deserves a third game.
Played for a couple hours (including the Wish content), and I'd say I had a good time overall. The aesthetics fit the gloomy story the developer wanted to tell, and I feel they succeeded in telling a dark story despite never experiencing said things. Also, the animations are good, including in Wish. Shocking? Yes. Great? Also yes. The sound effects + OSTs were also good and pushed the dark atmosphere forward more, too, in my mind.
