About A Raven Monologue

✦ AI summary

A Raven Monologue is a poetic, silent story where you experience a voiceless raven's quiet relationships with townspeople through hand-drawn art and atmospheric music. This experimental narrative game lets you interpret its emotional journey freely, making meaning from what's left unsaid.

Dearest Sir Raven,
Do you still wander around without end?
Crafting colors under the still and silent
Not knowing I'm waiting here alone without a friend

Dearest Sir Raven,
When you are around, would you mind to stop by?
Just a hello, just a moment
To let me savor the memories before our goodbye

Dearest Sir Raven,
Let us go home
To the place devoid of reality frame
Where I shall watch over us even without a logical form

A Raven Monologue is a short experimental silent story about a raven that does not know how to croak and his relationship with the people in the town.

This experiment was part of #MojikenCamp2, an internal upgrade program by Mojiken Studio to experiment with how to tell stories or to communicate an experience using a constrained work of interactive art.

As people have stated, this is not a game. It's a short story. I believe that if you particularly enjoy finding meanings in symbols, you can enjoy this little piece of art, but if do not seek deeper meanings its a lil waste of time. The art is gorgeous tho.

This is more of a visual novel than a game. Not even a visual novel game, as there are no character dialogue or action choices. Since it's free to play I will recommend! Well as long as you're into the artsy, deep meaning, following a raven around type thing.

First of: this isn't a game, it's a little artwork. I assume you need to listen carefully to the music in it's background, for understanding it properly. You can use the arrows below for turning into the next page, or the previous one of this animation, but in the end your only option will be to go back for finishing it. Choosing a crow as a protagonist suits very well for this kind of message (if I understood it correctly of course). It only took me 3 minutes for finishing it (5 are necessary though for writing reviews, so I've waited 2 more) and therefore I can recommend it, because I doubt anyone's too busy for sparing 3 minutes and enjoying some art. ;)

Short, but beautiful and moving.
