[i]Hexagourds[/i] clearly takes inspiration from the blockbuster Dorfromantik by borrowing the main mechanics of placing hexagonal tiles and chaining them for combo points, but adds some innovative features that give new directions to the gameplay. Just like in Dorfromantik, your main task is to place the tiles in an optimal way to build up long chains of the same element, like in a domino sequence, thus stacking up on combo points. The long trail of houses or the big patches of forests / grains have now been replaced by cute round pumpkins and goats eating haystacks. I think it is good that the tutorial teach you only the basics and you have to figure everything else yourself. There is some strategy with tiles placement that you need to learn in order to get lots of points. You play this game by getting 3 tiles each turn and picking one of these that you want to place or if you don’t want any of them and you have an apple tree placed already you can click the tree to get points for apples and get to new round with new tiles. There are also tiles with wheelbarrow that lets you move things from place to place or other tile and place them there. There are also tiles giving you buildings that multiplies the number of points that other tiles will give you now. Great game. Very relaxing but also allows for try hard strategies. I highly recommend if you like puzzlers or need a relaxing game to wind down. There is also a daily for competing against others if relaxing is not your goal :D Although, that is still relaxing.
