Honey is on a quest for revenge. Her creator Madmin has kidnapped her girlfriend and now she's on an unstoppable journey to get her back. Help her tear through Madmin's castle to find new items to help Honey and defeat an army of candy monsters in order to take down Madmin once and for all.

A fun, if short, metroidvania with unique controls and interesting items. Full Disclosure: I was one of the play testers for this game, so while I do have some bias towards this game. I will attempt my best to remain objective in this review. I was not paid for this review and these are my own thoughts. So, quick summary: Honey's Sweet Revenge is a short Metroidvania game staring the main character Honey on a journey to rescue her girlfriend from her evil creator in a world based on candy, vegetables, and mushrooms. The controls of the game play a bit similar to some popular plat-former fighters with charge attacks and aerials. As well as dodge rolls and aerial dodging. However, what I think sets Honey's Sweet Revenge apart from other games is the items you collect in this game. These items provide attack methods and movement options for the cost of "sugar" that collect from hitting and killing enemies. These items can then be bound to a certain input in the "select" menu to provide freedom of choice to the player in what they want to play.
