"Pop Some Eyes" is a fast paced arena shooter FPS. Fight off hordes of aliens in waves and show them who is the strongest! Upgrade weapons and skills, buy new weapons, earn money for purchases and pick up bullets. It starts off with a single type of enemy and slowly we are introduced to new. Not all weapons are as effective to all enemies. The soundtrack is cool and fits the craziness of the plot, a simple yet entertaining plot! Can you serve your sentence and fight off the alien fleet? ^^ At the time of writing, the game is in early access and it has many planned updates. The developer listens to the players feedback. For this price, it has more than enough content and replayability to keep you busy for many hours. The difficulty is fine. You'll be dying a lot at first, but then you get used to running around and expecting a surprising enemy from every corner! What a fun and challenging game! Developed by a Brazilian team, Pop Some Eyes keeps you engaged and entertained as you progress through waves of enemies, offering a great blend of fun, challenge and satisfaction (there's nothing like blowing up giant enemy eyes with a shotgun, lol). The weapon system upgrade is a great feature, allowing you to unlock additional weapons and giving you a better fighting chance in your future attempts to complete the waves (trust me, it's not that easy!). In conclusion, it's a fantastic little game that will provide you with a fair challenge. And, come on, the price is a bargain. Go ahead and give it a chance ;)

A very nice and chill game to pass the time. The graphics are very nice and the game is quite challenging. The early waves of monster may start slow but it can get quite chaotic at later levels.

Very quick-moving game, direct and to the point. The difficulty is a bit punishing with its instant death ways, but I found the gameplay to be quick and rewarding enough since each run supplies at least some cash that can be used for upgrades. The upgrades make a noticeable difference. Each run shows a little more progress. I really like the strange and dreamlike style. Stylish and colorful despite the nighttime visuals and not afraid of a little experimentation. The sound design is OK, I like that you can hear the enemies and usually know when they're about to approach from the side. This is in early access and there is much room for added features and improvement, but it's shaping up to be a fun game. Easier with KB+M and more challenging with a controller.

My general thoughts so far is that this is a wave based shooter I can jump into for 10-20 minutes at a time. It isn't very deep, and you are into combat pretty quickly so it is very easy to stay in the groove of things. It would be cool to see power-ups or more weapons. The beholder-esque enemies are well designed and fun to kill. I usually die around wave 5 or so. I'm not sure how much more difficult they get aside from ranging in size and eye color - taking more hits to kill/moving faster/etc. If you're looking for a simple wave-based shooter that isn't going to take a lot of thought behind your actions - this is a pretty nice title to have in your library.
