About Supipara - Chapter 2 Spring Has Come!
After seven years, Yukinari Sanada has returned to his hometown in Kanagawa Prefecture, Kamakura City, but something feels... different. Both he and his younger sister, Rikka, transfer into Oumi Academy and hope for a fresh start. However, Yukinari's classmates, a lazy witch and a half-Japanese beauty, won't allow him enjoy his new life for very long.
What's our protagonist to do when he's constantly surrounded by a whole host of unique personalities and the troubles they bring along with them? Your story with "her" about smiles, peace, passion, and love, all while borrowing the power of a witch, is about to begin!
"Supipara - Alice the Magical Conductor." is an interactive novel themed around "dynamicism" depicted through a rallying all of the production techniques minori has accumulated to date. See expressive character portraits with moving eyes, mouths, even hair! It is quite immersive in many aspects.
Also, "Supipara" won't conclude in a single game. It will be released as several standalone episodes. Fans may freely pursue only the episodes that interest them if so desired. You could say "it's a light novel series, and independent stories which develop their own unique personalities all in one."

Kinetic novel. Was meant to be part of a larger, episodic journey, but the developer minori appears to have... vanished. Still decent as a vignette. Suggest getting it in the bundle with the only other chapter to be published.3 found this helpful
Supipara - Chapter 2 Spring Has Come!, developed by minori and published by MangaGamer, continues its episodic visual novel structure with a stronger focus on emotional storytelling and character-driven drama. Picking up after the events of the first chapter, it assumes that players are already familiar with its world and themes, allowing it to spend less time on setup and more time exploring the consequences of what has already been introduced. The story once again follows Yukinari Sanada, but this chapter shifts its attention more deliberately toward deeper relationships and the emotional weight behind the series’ central ideas. One of the most notable aspects of this installment is its increased narrative focus. While the first chapter served as a foundation, this continuation narrows its scope and builds a more concentrated character arc, particularly through the introduction and development of Hotaru. Her personality and story bring a sharper emotional edge to the narrative, exploring themes such as sacrifice, regret, and the personal cost of supernatural intervention. The writing leans more heavily into introspection, giving characters room to express conflicting emotions an…2 found this helpful
This visual novel is so pretty, it has literally hundreds of gorgeous CGs and a very beautiful soundtrack. The atmosphere is impeccable and I enjoyed it a lot based on the technical side alone, though the story isn't too bad either. It's mostly a slice of life with some magical elements (well, one of the main characters is a witch). It's not a big grand magical adventure and it's mostly focused on character drama, which I thought was done well. I also liked the heroie, Hotaru, a lot. She's your typical huffy tsundere but she isn't overly rude to the MC (she's more arrogant and self-aggrandising than aggressive, but in a charming way which makes it apparent she's mostly kidding around), and she gets some nice humanising moments of tenderness. She also has some fun banter with the MC. I read the first Supipara VN years ago and I remember not liking it very much (I thought the heroine of the first volume, Sakura, was pretty uninteresting), but I liked the second volume a lot more: maybe because I simply like tsunderes more? Hotaru is definitely more my type so I'm a bit biased here haha I did enjoy this a lot, in any case, and I'm sad minori disbanded and this series won't be fini…
It's a very heartwarming story, with immensely likeable characters, a fantastic ost, and plenty of feels for your feeling needs. Reading Chapter 1 isn't necessary (though the after-credits scene will require at least a basic understanding of what happened in the first chapter to understand. We're talking like a one-sentence summary). Still, the meaning can be inferred. I'm usually not a fan of open endings like this one, but it's done very well.
Absolutely worth a read. Even though we'll never get to see the rest of the chapters because of minori disbanding, the first two are worth it on their own. Each one can be taken as a "route" so to speak, so even though we won't really find out what's going on in the background you can feel happy about the chapters themselves. The visuals, music, and voice acting are all very well done as well. minori, thank you for your hard work, the first ever VN i read was *eden by you guys and it got me hooked right away. I still use it as my recommendation whenever introducing someone to the genre. I'll check back every few years just in case a miracle happens.
I absolutely LOVED Chapter 2 of Supipara, which makes me even more sad, that minori (the developers) is no more. I'm not saying this is a masterpiece or anything, in fact, it played its story fairly safe, but in return it avoided a lot of unnecessary melodrama which would've greatly hurt the experience. Despite this chapter's main girl coming off as unlikeable or outright offensive initially, she does show that she's a lot more than she lets on. It's not just that she's a tsundere and that's her whole existence, for one, she's a lot more honest with her feelings overall, but it's best if you, as the reader sees it for themselves and I'd also like to avoid spoilers. It deals with the weight of memories a lot more than the first Chapter and this time it's actually one of the main focus. The romance between the main character and main girl is also a bit deeper and I liked it more than in the first chapter. I felt the couple in Chapter 2 has a better chemistry and their relationship a better build up. I also like the fact that this time the main girl is a lot more involved in basically everything. In my humble opinion this chapter surpasses the already good first one in pretty much e…
