World's most bullyable twink attracts every sadist in a 50 mile radius and sometimes people die in the process. Impressive number of routes through the game. Not only do almost all of your choices actually matter for the ending you get, the game also secretly opens new routes as you get endings. I wouldn't say most of the game is particularly *romantic* but the sheer number of ways you can interact with the girls means you are frequently seeing other sides of them and thus seeing the same events in new lights. The skip/rewind functions work very well and you get a ton of save slots and unlocks so it makes experimenting feel very rewarding. The protag is a guy which is usually a minus for me, but this guy is such a trembling nervous chihuahua that it works. Atcchan being a spineless avoidant weakling instead of a masculine idiot jerk is very intentional and woven into the narrative. He has a history of pulling people close and then being flighty and inconsistent and it makes the yandere behavior feel more earned compared to a lot of depictions. Atcchan has hurt these girls despite never intending to be cruel, and that's the way things go sometimes. Could this have been told as a y…

I didn't know much about The Way We All Go other than it was ebi's first commercial VN and that a lot of people in the EVN community had nostalgia for the original. So I was really excited to hear it was getting a full remake. I would describe it as a thriller with a lot of different choices that lead to many different endings. Many of the endings lead to different "fragments," or epilogues, so you have plenty to read. There are a ton of CGs as well. As of this review, I've gotten about 10 endings, some good and some bad. What really stands out to me about the writing is the way it portrays mental health issues through certain characters. I tend to expect Yandere characters to be somewhat one note, but that's not the case here at all. Without spoiling anything, Noelle is the best character in the visual novel, and ebi does a great job of getting the reader to understand why she is pushed to do the horrific acts she commits. Amu and Attchan are great as well, especially Attchan. I can get very annoyed with male VN protagonists, but he's a sweet and endearing kid. I also love the art a lot. AuCrowne has done art for some of ebi's other VNs, and it is great to see them return. The s…

The Way We All Go is, without exaggeration, one of the best visual novels I've ever read. I can say that I really enjoyed discovering the endings, even if I only managed to get a few without guides. About the characters, I can say that I liked Noelle the most, probably because I see myself in her; she and I had a similar cruel and sad past, and that's probably why I was able to understand her and have great sympathy for her. Besides Noelle, I can say that I really liked Atcchan and Amu, and a bit of Eri. Atcchan is not your typical self-insert male protagonist that you find in many visual novels, and he is not a pervert or a jerk; he is an adorable boy who blushes a lot haha. I feel that Amu was the heart of the story, in the sense that her cheerful and playful personality helped a lot to relax the story in many parts; however, sometimes I found her a bit annoying.I don't really have much to say about Eri, but the fact that she cares a lot about her rabbit, Shiro, shows that she's a sensitive girl who doesn't really know how to open up to other people; she's not a bad person. Regarding the music, I can say that I really liked the soundtrack. I think that every song fits the atmo…

I played the original in 2015. When I read there would be a remake, I knew I had to play it! I completed it in about 25 hours. I really liked the new character!

Amazing visual novel, Ever since I played the original the way we all go its been my favourite visual novel so when the remake released I immediately had to get it. The remake is just as good as the original and improves on a lot of parts of the original. The story is amazing and all the endings and amazing. I 10000% recommend

The Way We All Go is a very enjoyable VN with a lot of choices, endings and many interesting characters. I have done multiple playthroughs and something I really appreciated is the big changes that small choices can bring, making it easily replayable with multiple different scenarios. Searching for the various endings is also fun because each one gives you a new view of the characters, letting you see their different sides. I've already read many of ebi-hime's works, and just like the others, the writing is really good. The VN also has great art and music
