When you're on the precipice and you feel like there's no way out...

Introduction
Farewell, we see each other for the last time..... is an emotionally dark, slightly horror, slightly otome (I'll get to that part later in my review) visual novel developed by Drimmar and published by VNka. You take on the role of Lena, a teenager who's recently transferred schools, having been expelled at her previous school. Despite that she'd rather be alone and not make nice with the teachers or students, one student, Marin, wants to get closer to her, feeling as though he can empathize with her. As Lena falls deeper in her pain, can Marin save her? As for the gameplay, there are a few choices and depending on the ones made, they can lead to one of six endings: "I Am Happy", "No Way Out", "Please, Stop Me", "I (Don't) Want to Live", "Irreparable Mistake", or "My Guilt". I should note that only one of these endings is a happy one while the others lead to tragic endings. The game is entirely comprised of CGs, and a few tracks are present but no voice acting. At the time of this review, no Steam achievements are available, and the game won't count towards a user's g…20 found this helpful
It's sad and sweet with the good ending or just depressing if you get the four bad ones. I got four of the six with the good ending. Good art and nice music and writing. The jokes were strange to me but they were fun to read. The story and four characters one not shown were good. I think you shouldn't stop playing until you get the good ending. I think I am trying to figure out how to the one of the sad endings but I am too lazy. For less than 2 dollars and about 42 minutes I think it's good enough for the price. It's obviously really short and reminds me of Kanon or Clannad or something. The characters are cute...the main girl and boy look so nice together I like that and they don't look like the same person which is even better. I give it a 9/10 could have used a bit more detail and longer but it's good enough reminds me of Newgrounds if that still exists. I think you should buy it and play it. It's realistic drama so it is really intense by the way.2 found this helpful

This is a very short visual novel that can be easily finished in under an hour. It has 6 endings and very few decisions. The atmosphere and story are good, and the writing is simple (at least in the English translation). I do not see it as an Otome/romance game, but it is a dark story that touches on mental health. On the other side, the GUI could use some work and the game does not work on steamdeck.1 found this helpful
