About Blueprint Bob

In this physics-based building puzzle platformer, you place the platforms and must then reach the top of your own creations. Help Bob through 42 meticulously crafted levels in his career from apprentice to architect by building the tallest structures imaginable.

Trust me, I'm an engineer!

Engineering degree or not, with your help Bob can prevail!

Build

In each level, you're faced with new challenges and can only use a finite number of objects. Place, rotate and stack the objects to make them fit where you want and ultimately create a climbable structure that takes you to the top.

Climb

There are many different types of objects to build with and they interact with each
other in different ways. After each level you will be able to compare your score with
all who beat the level before you, can you get the top score?

Level Editor

Create your own levels when you unlock the level editor, send your creations to a friend or receive them from other players via our discord and play an unlimited amount of levels.

Save and Load Level Solutions

Feeling stuck? Have a friend send their solution to a puzzle or hop on over to our Discord server and ask for help so that you can get those tricky achievements. Your three best solutions for each level are always saved. Just go back if you ever forget how to get as high as your personal best!

🔹 EXPECTATIONS: a puzzle game similar to World of goo. 🔹 REALITY: a sandbox puzzle game. 🔶 Blueprint Bob is a small puzzle game where we're given some building blocks to make a tower and bring Bob to a certain height (or higher). It has 3 scenarios with 14 levels each (plus a 2-level tutorial) and an unlockable 'Sandbox' mode. It doesn't have a story, though. 🔸 The gameplay loop consists on building a stable tower, that also has to be climbable by Bob. Once we're done building, we can control him directly and put our tower, and jumping skills, to the test. Each level grants a green star for reaching a minimum height, and a golden one for a 2nd height. 🔸 Each of the 3 scenarios comes with a different set of weirdly shaped blocks, and on each level we'll have available only a few of those. So the actual challenge lies in mastering, not only the best way to use each block, but in how to best combine them. 🔸 The physics system/engine is quite simplistic and I think that is correct. It makes pieces more manageable and the overall experience more fun. Towers being more stable means one can focus on the combination of blocks and making them climbable, rather than praying for it …

As I grow older with less spare time and burnt out dopamine system, it get harder and harder to find a game that is easy enough to get into but stimulating enough to scratch the itch. This game really succeed were other games fail. I love the physics and the global scoreboard makes me think of solutions while making the dishes.

Love the game! Been spending time just hunting records. Great to see public player score for each map and how I compete against others. Definitely looking forward figuring out new methods of climbing higher!

Very enjoyable and never gets old, every time you make a mistake you want to try again to fix it and get higher. Music is great and also never gets old even after nearly an hour straight of playing. 👍

Reminds of classic flash games. I like climbing the trash towers I make in this game.
