Players praise the game's fun co-op gameplay and patriotic theme, with some enjoying the faction-based gameplay despite technical performance issues. However, common complaints include perceived aggressive monetization, poorly communicated balance changes that seemingly nerf player effectiveness while buffing enemies, repetitive mission variety, and rapid burnout despite initial enjoyment, with the game best experienced with friends rather than alone.
Recent SC Update shows their true colors. Rather squeeze every last drop of money out of people before they make SC grinding feasible in a reasonable amount of time.
Used to enjoy this game but all the shadownerfs to the Helldivers and their arsenal is making the game hard to enjoy. The devs "balancing" their game is like curling the monkey's paw, if the Helldivers get a damage buff to any weapon or any health upgrade all enemy factions gets double that and it won't be listed in the patch notes. Missions start feeling repetitive after playing the same mission sets for so long and we scrape by on our Major Orders because of people scattered across factions or just don't bother in the MO's. This game is another pick it up and play for a month then either come back occasionally or get burnt out and rarely pick it back up again although playing with friends do slightly heighten the experience.
Playing this game I unlocked patriotism I didn't know I had now I can experience 4th of July lvl patriotism whenever I want too Oh and space racism is pretty sick to didn't no I needed that FOR SUPER EARTH
For some reason both my keyboard and mouse has been struggling to run and idk why. I cant even play this game anymore its that bad
