Check the all-time low, not the discount badge
A "-75%" badge is measured against the list price, which tells you nothing about whether this is a good price. Every game page here shows the lowest price we have ever recorded for it, which is the number that actually answers the question.
The official store is not always the sale price
Key resellers routinely sit below the Steam sale price on the same game, and Black Friday is when that gap is widest. It is also when it is worth reading who the seller is — a marketplace listing is sold by a stranger, not the publisher.
Most games go lower later
Black Friday is a big sale, not the biggest for every title. Steam runs a Winter Sale weeks afterwards, and an individual publisher sale can beat both. If a game is not at its all-time low, waiting usually costs nothing.
