A Beautiful Hand-Drawn World

Mickey and Friends have travelled to the beautiful island of Monoth for a picnic. However, they soon discover not is all as it seems and adventure is afoot.

Monoth is split into three distinct biomes:

Pavonia - Pavonia, the Western Biome, is famous for its incredible flora and fauna. These wondrous crops are harvested for food and supplies, then distributed throughout Monoth. Legend states that Pavonia is fruitful and prosperous due to the protection of "The Highness," a giant peacock believed to wrap the entire biome within its wings. Pavonia is made up of three regions: Forgotten Farmlands, Terrarium Town, and Head of The Highness.

Gizmopolis - Gizmopolis, the Northern Biome of Monoth, is known for its incredible logic-defying mechanisms. Built from what appears to be a collection of discarded parts and pieces, it is a biome that never stands still. Run by "The PostOfficer" to be a productive and automated Biome of Engineering, Gizmopolis is a bustling hub of inaction, due to the level of automation causing an inversion in productivity. Gizmopolis is made up of three regions: Downtown Gizmopolis, MOPS, and Servo's Swing Spot.

Astrono - Situated on the Eastern coast of Monoth is the awe-inspiring biome of Astrono, the Biome of Astronomy. Formed from the small fishing village of Crescent Hamlet, over time the gravity changed, pulling the moons and stars closer together. When the moons collided and cracked, their magical Moon Juice spilled out into the world, forming floating pools of wonder, and creating the galactic ocean known as The Sky Below. Astrono is made up of three regions: Crater's Bay, Crescent Hamlet, and The Sky Below.

This is a good game, especially because you can play with your kid and he can have infinite lives while you have 3. Definitely a good bargain when on sale.

I'm not a great platform gamer, in fact I am rather lousy at them. Mario Bros. etc I get to the 2nd level and then I give up as they get harder and harder, but I enjoy them up to that point. This game however lets you play at four different skill sets from one Heart/life mode all the way to Invincible mode, AND you can change your levels throughout the game. I started for a few levels at 3 heart mode but once I got to the boss level I switched to invincible mode as I struggle on these and normally give up the game for good (and waste my money). It took me really long still to beat the boss as I got hit many MANY times but eventually I beat him and man did I feel good doing so. I think its great that the game is made to include every level of player old or young, good or bad and you can still have fun. It's an older game now but I still recommend it if you don't have it. I got it on sale but it's worth the full price, (I have the physical copy for Switch which was full price and equally as good and accommotating.)

🐿️played through this game on the Switch and got 100%, was more than happy to play through it again on the Steam Deck and get 100% a second time. A lot of care and detail went into this game, from the visuals to the music and the sound effects, and the developers put a lot of effort into creating a unique, fun world full of unique, fun characters Honestly, we need more Metroidvania style games that are bright, colorful, and casual like this one. Metroidvania + Collectathon just makes sense (something we like to call Collectroidvania) and this game is a shining example of that. It features some expected Metroidvania upgrades, but they're handled so uniquely. Again, the animations are so good, and it even has a bunch of cutscene animations too - sometimes feeling like you're just in a Mickey cartoon. Speaking of, you don't have to know much of anything about Mickey and his friends to play this game, as it does a really good job just focusing on its own environment and characters. As mentioned before, this game is on the casual side. However, if you want to go for 100% (or you want to try the Iron Mouse mode, because yes it has that) then good luck to you I think the only thing ba…

This game is really charming. I love the art style and voice acting. I especially love how everything, from background elements to the character sprites, are fully hand-drawn. If you're a fan of old-school Disney or 2D animations, I highly recommend this game—a solid 8 or 9 out of 10.
