✦ AI summary

Castle of Illusion is a platformer remake that players praise for its solid gameplay, beautiful graphics, and excellent orchestral soundtrack arrangements that fans of the original Genesis version appreciate. Common complaints center on technical issues and bugs on the Steam version that detract from the experience, though players who can get it running find it enjoyable and challenging. Players suggest this is worth picking up, particularly if you have fond memories of the original or enjoy classic platformers.

I love this game when I played it way back on my PS3. But omg they need to fix this game on steam for others to enjoy it.

played the original game on genesis, and i loved it! great music and solid gameplay carried it pretty far, and this reimagining is about as good as the original! once more, amazing gameplay and beautiful orchestral arrangements of the original soundtrack carry this game a lot, and the absolutely stunning graphics make for a damn good game! overall? 9/10, i liked it a lot! (i wish this studio was at least allowed to remake world of illusion too before getting gutted, but that's neither here nor there.)
