ton of charm! not my cup of tea personally but I can see what it's going for and I think you'll have a good time if you like similar games

Dorothy's Job is one of those games where the basic idea immediately made me smile. I am playing as Dorothy, a ridiculously muscular maid who has to keep an evil mastermind's mansion clean while also dealing with enemies trying to get in her way. Instead of using normal weapons, I am cleaning everything with things like mops and vacuum cleaners that have been turned into weapons. It is a silly idea, but I think the game understands exactly what it is going for and never tries to take itself too seriously. The shooting is easily the best part for me. It is an isometric twin stick shooter, so I am constantly moving around while aiming at enemies and trying to keep control of the room. The cleaning tools give the combat its own personality, and I like that I am basically turning ordinary household equipment into ridiculous weapons. There is something quite satisfying about running around a room with a mop while clearing out enemies and dirt at the same time. It makes the combat feel different enough from a normal twin stick shooter. I also like the way cleaning is actually part of the gameplay rather than just being a joke in the story. Is there an achievement for rage-uninstalling and removing from account?

Doesn't provide the masses with the flexibility to complete the game. You need to dedicate hours just to complete the earlier to mid levels. It's focused towards controller players and leaves keyboard players clueless to the key bindings. Even though it is playable on keyboards and mouses. Even though it crashed on me several times, I think that is because my graphics driver is outdated. It's a very colourful, plain textured graphical game but surprisingly heavy on the gpu. 100% positive reviews thusfar, feel sus too, but who cares, I'll be honest and say it is definitely not for me.

Dorothy's Job is the absolute best free game I've ever played. That said, don't let the simple presentation fool you. This game is actually pretty difficult, and if you're bad at games, you're probably going to struggle with it. I know I certainly had moments where it pushed me harder than I expected. The challenge is part of what makes it so satisfying though. For a completely free game, I was genuinely impressed by how engaging and polished the experience felt. I can't recommend it enough.
