Lost Remnant: Roaches to Riches

This was an enjoyable point and click adventure game, but in the mechanics-style of Heroes of the Kingdom where you slowly get stronger over time. Definitely has the "just one more turn" aspect going for it as well; it felt like I was constantly in danger and it was hard to pick a spot to take a break. There are a few quality-of-life issues; you definitely should play this with a notepad app open; it was a bit of a pain having to go back and forth between screens to double-check what I needed to get for certain quests and the gathering+production logistics definitely had me writing out a flow-chart on a sheet of paper a couple of times. But overall I definitely recommend this game it has good atmosphere, lore, and gameplay.

An enjoyable experience once you get a hang of it. Hard to put down once you get started. looking forward to the next installment.

I just love this. Its rough but hella straightforward in what it is trying to do and the atmosphere is just delicious blend of lovecraft, kafka and poe.

This is a very fun little game, with simple, easy to grasp mechanics. Casual enough for just a handful of leisurely hours of play (I left the game idling for a while but my first playthrough took about 7 hours), but still with enough depth in its variety of skills, resources and hazards to manage that it doesn't feel basic at all. Well worth the price in my opinion, I will very likely revisit this one after a while like I did the first free-to-play entry in this loosely-connected series. Plotwise I have to say that in the first maybe 60-90 minutes of play I was a little disappointed since it felt like there was basically no story to speak of, as opposed to the previous games which starts you with enough lore and mystery to keep you going, but I was glad to see it becomes a lot more engaging after that. As soon as you make it to the surface, everything starts developing from there and it's less a question of just survival (though there's plenty of that, and then some) and the plot unravels with a slow trickle. Nothing too deep, but enjoyable and with enough unsettling revelations to keep you hooked. ...that, and plenty of challenges, don't think this is one of those "can't not be…

Very atmospheric game that is completely worth the price. I've had two playthroughs of the game spaced quite a bit apart, and enjoyed both times. Hoping for another game in the universe. Only issues I had were simple QoL stuff, like not being able to see production vs consumption, but I just used a notepad real quick, and never really had to worry about it again.

Lots of fun Nicely dark world building - I really enjoyed the End Tides (free) game so thought I would try this one I had a few odd glitches (numbers not adding the way they should) but overall I was able to get to the end My first run I went to the surface too early and the cultists caused way too much trouble for me, but my second play-through was good There were a couple features for the resource control I would have liked to see but overall it was a good process
