✦ AI summary

Players praise this budget-friendly roguelite for its satisfying, soothing gameplay loop with progression-based upgrades and solid controller support, though opinions on quality vary significantly. Common complaints include it being a mediocre Vampire Survivors clone that's no longer updated, with some finding it unfun and tedious despite its low price and short length. Technical issues on Linux are notable, requiring Proton workarounds to avoid crashes and hangs.

good game for a price. has roguelite progression system where you can spend earned gold on character upgrades to make next run easier. works with controller. UI looks simplistic but serves the purpose. controls are pretty simple (just move to avoid danger and occasionally click on selected buff). be warned if you intend to play Linux port, it hangs the game 3-5 minutes after playing. switch to Proton (7x works out of the box, controller included). I tried to check logs to see what went wrong and why it stops working but system logs have no info. if game complains about "no DirectX11 card" and crashes, use launch param PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% Unity engine refuses to work with Vulkan, same approach can be used to run other Unity games with latest Proton.

Subpar Vampire Survivors clone that is no longer being updated. There's a hundred different games in this genre on Steam, and most of them are better than this.

Just a terrible game. I'm sorry to the devs and everyone who loves this game, but it's not good. Like I played this game for 2 hours straight, and I kept thinking "oh maybe I'm about to start having fun" and the game took that faith I had in it, and shoved it right up my ass with some new unfun trash. It's like this game is intentionally doing everything it can to make sure the player has the least fun possible. I think I would have more fun moving the great wall of China brick by brick to the Mexican border as unpaid labor for Trump than I would playing this game.

For the price of 49 cents it is a good game. It is a very short game though.
