Penniless Chef

I like the idea of the game and i would like to see this game grow :) I see it's a pretty new game (it sais it came out on March the 31st, 2026) so bugs are to be expected. First thing, please add a "save" button in game to save progress and a "continue" in the title screen to continue where one left off. I did the "load" game thing and all the tables, gold and ingridients i had were missing so i was stuck with no way to get back the gold to get the restaurant working again, i had to start a new game, where i discovered that watever i had cooked before was already learned. This problem does make the game pretty much unplayable. Second, please add a zoom in-out option, i like looking at the whole restaurant to keep track on cutomers. Related to this, closing makes customers disappear so i would like to avoid accidentally "shoo-ing" customers when i need to close, also maybe the closing could only avoid new customers arriving but allow serving and letting eat the ones already inside. Third, i think the item menues (NOT the restaurant menue) where you scroll up and down are working a little laggy or are to slow, maybe adding a up-down bar on the side in adition to the mouse wheel scr…

Fun game with a fun concept, however there are some early game bugs that make the game unplayable. When you upgrade the restaurant for some reason you are unable to cook food. Also adding a save button would be great as well. Overall still a fun game just need to fix the bugs.

Honestly a good game and the cooking is where it shines. I genuinely love the cooking mechanics, there is something really satisfying about jumping into the kitchen and putting dishes together. If you are someone who enjoys cooking focused gameplay you will have a great time with this part of the game. Unfortunately the bugs are hard to ignore. Characters get stuck in random spots all over the map and just stop moving entirely. The exit button is also weirdly difficult to find which gets frustrating fast. The core is fun enough that I want to keep playing but the bugs make it really hard to recommend right now. Hoping the devs patch this soon because there is a genuinely good game hiding underneath.

Work in process, but I like these chef/restaurant style games. Right now you buy ingredients at various shops, experiment with foods to try to unlock new recipes, and cook and sell dishes to customers. I found it fun and am excited to see where it goes from here. A couple of things I might like to see is some way to know if you are getting close to finding a recipe or some way to get recipes other than experimenting, I have wasted so many ingredients trying to figure out new recipes based on real recipes I like to cook and it all costs money. Also it would be nice to be able to zoom out in the restaurant to be able to see more of the room when you are cooking.

I can't play the tutorial. Maybe Moses can help? Sad :(

Fun! Its a nice game with interesting mechanics, but it does have multiple bugs and is occasionally hard to navigate. the recipes are purely guessing based and the map is huge, furniture placing is jank, but if you can look past that its a pretty good way to pass a few hours!
