Chef RPG

The game itself plays very well. The systems are interesting and satisfying to play repeatedly. That being said, the game lacks in it's NPC's. Everyone talks in the same manner, and nobody is interesting. The few characters that are actually interesting and made me want to know more about them are Hazel, the android, who we can't help repair, and Lucius, the food critic, who you don't even meet until the end of act 2. Character customization is limited, NPCs' sprites hardly match their portraits, and not starting out with an easily accessible calendar makes planning for birthdays and events difficult. We can't make shopping lists, either, which is a small but necessary task.

Fun game. Lots of different things and systems to play with if you want to get deep into it.

As expected for early access, this game definitely has some minor imperfections, mainly in dialogue. Nothing that can't be forgiven tho, as the game is very well made and it's fun to play. The overall quality considering it's still early access is pretty amazing. This will be in the go-to rotation while we all anticipate Haunted Chocolatier.

Great game, lots of hours of fun! I'm excited to see the Billboard City expansion and more future updates.

controls are awful and it's a big part of the cooking mechanics. destined to fail by design :)

Such a nice game, I cant wait for the full release.
