About Planeticus
Planeticus is a multiplayer 2D space strategy game. The most enjoyable experience will be achieved in the company of friends!
Exchange spaceships for the right to own the desired planets and receive random resources for your collection. You can transfer resources between your planets, increasing armor or for other purposes.
By collecting all 5 types of resources on one planet, you will turn it into a super planet that will begin to generate ships for you.
Will you send spaceships to attack or protect the necessary planets?
Build walls between planets to protect yourself from enemies. You can also build them unexpectedly to instantly destroy enemy ships. It all depends on your ingenuity!
The size of the map is determined by the number of players. Each game will give you a different list of planets. All planets will have a random name, map position, appearance, and resource element. Also, players are given a random home planet at start and there will always be a different distance between players. More accidents to the god of accidents!
Who are you: a pathetic space worm or a respected ruler of the galaxies? What Steam players say

Honestly, right now it is an empty game, almost completely. Moreover, it requires Epic Games account linked to steam, and actually even after I linked them, menu still didn't work as it supposed to. In fact, I was so interested to try it out that I bought in on epic games, too, mainly because there was a "Single Player" tag on it. Do not be fooled, there is no single player at all — it is purely a PvP game. You can get dropped onto map solo, but there is nothing to do — I captured every planet in 2-3 minutes and quit the game. If the look of the game causes an itch you really want to scratch, go play Eufloria or something similar. I'll keep my eye on this game in case if there will show up actually playable content, but right now it is literally empty. Refunded on both EGS and Steam.17 found this helpful
Warning: Dead PVP Game This game has no single player content, and no playable PvP servers. There is no functioning PvP population, it's a dead game, and cannot be played in the way the game was intended to be.
Planeticus is an abandoned Early Access ripoff of the mobile app/Flash game, Galcon, but multiplayer only. There's a couple of gimmicks that make this look like a much deeper strategy game but these don't really alter the core premise, so it's no surprise that gamers avoided this like the plague. See below for the player count. And I do mean player, not players. The focus of the game is pure PvP, there's no single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. The vast majority of PvP-only games fail because they don't "go viral", and without players, or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The game was abandoned roughly 4 days after launch and hasn't been updated in 8 months. It blew past the developers c…13 found this helpful
