If you're looking for a quick and easy cat and pirate themed point and click game, then this is the game for you. It's not really too much of a brain-buster or anything, I managed to finish it in 14 minutes, it's really more about being cute pirate cats with a positive ending, no stress. While it's not the best game out there, it's definitely worth a play if you just want something fast and casual. Plus, cats. Pirate cats.

Purrates is an adorable little point and click adventure that I had a lot of fun with. The idea of a pirate crew made entirely of cats already made me smile, and the game actually does a good job of building a small mystery around the concept. I play as Captain Clawdius Whiskers while trying to rebuild my crew and uncover the mystery of the Red Dot. The gameplay is built around exploring the island, talking to characters and collecting items that can help me solve puzzles. I liked the traditional point and click structure because it gives me plenty of excuses to inspect the environment and speak with everyone I meet. The puzzles are tied into the world rather than feeling completely disconnected from the story. The crew is easily one of my favorite parts. Every cat has its own personality, and rebuilding the group gives me a reason to keep exploring the harbor, town square and tavern. I enjoyed talking to the locals as well because their conversations gradually give me more information about the island and the mystery. It makes the adventure feel like a small detective story rather than just a collection of item puzzles. The comic book inspired artwork is another highlight. The …

Easy, short puzzle game. sometimes the movement is slightly janky or way too fast. but a fun play that took about 10 minutes

VERY short game, but free for now. Hopefully, the developer will expand on the kitty's tail...
