What Steam players say

Players appreciate the zoo theme as a familiar extension of the Rescue Team formula, but are largely disappointed with the game's execution. Common complaints include inconsistent difficulty (some find it too easy and lacking challenge, while relaxed-mode players hit sudden spikes), poor quality-of-life features like inability to change cursors and unskippable dialogs, and a noticeable downgrade in graphics and polish compared to previous entries. The consensus is that the game feels like a step backward for the series with insufficient thought put into level design and overall fun factor.
I like to play time management games in RELAXED mode but there are at least 3 levels that require fast game play and will fail if the time requirements are not met: level 41, bonus level 6 and bonus level 14 (where I finally gave up after several failures and quit the game). If you like to play RELAXED, this game is probably not for you. It was definitely a waste of money for me.1 found this helpful
If you like rescue team this is more of the same this one has a nice Zoo like twist
somehow they managed to make a worse game. uglier aesthetic than the previous and no achievments and WAY TOO EASY
This seems like a step backwards for the series. You can't change the cursor, it's a million clicks to exit, there aren't options to skip dialog in the start of each level, the graphics seem worse... This would make sense for an earlier Rescue Team, but not the latest in the series.
Rescue Team 8 is terrible! There is absolutely no time management needed and zero challenge. Did they get the work experience kid to produce this one??
They've stopped trying at this point - there is no thought that goes into completing the levels - its not fun or rewarding.
