I find this game to be very intriguing and its diplomacy/strategy aspect is what makes it stand out. The visuals are very pretty and the concept is unique. The only downside is the fact that winning is rather complicated (I have played it thrice and have not yet managed to win...). However, playing it is very fun and I would still recommend you to check it out. Can't wait to see more games developed by Act V Games! P.S. As much as the "diplomacy" and "strategy RPG" tags are deserved, I don't think the "dating sim" one is... Our mc does not pursue any romantic relationship with the characters from what I could gather.1 found this helpful
hidden gem! Not quite a stats raising game but scratches a similar itch. The core gameplay loop is simple and effective, with enough progression in scenes and dialogue to keep things interesting. I had to play five times to beat the game! New game plus helped.
This game fuses some really interesting dialogue-based mechanics and Persona-style time-management simulation and stat progression into a visual novel about Richard, who is a huge ♥♥♥♥. Play this game so that you can take down a high school bully with the power of friendship, which might not be as easy as it sounds.
So much fun, actually! It takes about ~3 hours to get through it thrice :) I really liked the characters in the end. Short and sweet. But a heads up to the developers: if you click through the starting dialog really fast, everyone's pupils disappear until the next scene. It's so scary lol.
I really like the characters and having to manage your time (basically who to spend it with) makes the game feel a bit more interactive. I'm not sure I would characterise this as a dating sim tho. I just wish there were achievements or a way to see how much content I'm missing besides the character sheets. Took 2 hours for me to play through the game but you can replay to get a different ending and find new info. Playable on mac (there were some bugs but nothing game breaking).
Honestly, I was not expecting the slight twist to the plot. It's a nice, free game that anyone could enjoy. ^^
