Loser's Romance

ENG: Loser's Romance is a visual novel/dating sim that as the name suggests, we will be an unpopular person who wants to get his first girlfriend. It is short but extremely replayable, with a lot of branches and endings, even our possible answers change depending on the personality we choose. You really feel in the skin of the school weirdo trying to pick up "whatever he can", I recommend it. ESP: Loser's Romance es una novela visual/dating sim que como su nombre indica, seremos una persona no muy popular que quiere conseguir su primera novia. Es corto pero extremadamente rejugable, con mucha variedad de opciones y finales, incluso nuestras posibles respuestas cambian dependiendo de la personalidad que elijamos al principio. Realmente te sientes en la piel del rarito que intenta levantarse a "la que pueda", lo recomiendo.

Wow, this is truly a gem. The characters are adorable, the music is catchy, and the joke writing reminds me of classic Simpsons. I'm already amazed by how the storytelling bends around my choices. Can't wait to play more.

Story/Plot: As you can guess by the title, Loser's Romance has the player in high school, and they are far from being among the social elite. However, this doesn't mean you can't find a special someone, and so you meet a large number of young women and depending on proper responses, and maybe a little luck, you will find a special someone. Visuals: Some might call the art for this game a bit simplistic since it does lack the polish other games have. However, I actually like it. For one thing, at least it shows effort was put in, and it makes it unique. And it didn't go the route of using a program like most adult visual novels use, making all the characters and environments feel samey. Gameplay: As a visual novel, gameplay consists of making choices, and seeing how things react to those choices. These are actually meaningful as it can spell the difference of getting into a relationship or ending school alone. There is a side thing about buying gifts for your special someone, and I appreciate that it adds some variety to the game. Sound/Music: The sound and music are probably the biggest weakness for this game. There is some stuff within, but it doesn't stand out. H…

Pretty novel datig sim! I'm not entirely sure why its called a roguelite but the writing is very very good, not only getting you into that loser mindset and having a compelling cast of characters. Big fan of Tabitha, but all of her endings WILL make you go "There is nothing we can do"

Definitely needs some polish, but overall, I really enjoyed it as an Ohioan with no social life! Cackled at some of the nostalgia-baits.
