About Tales of Anturia: Hejstos
The Root Council has sent you to the icy wastes of Hejstos to find an artifact that will unite the tribes and end the fratricidal struggle. Experience an incredible adventure in this third-person RPG focused on combat and exploration.
You have been sent to an icy wasteland that conceals traces of ancient peoples.
In these ruins, you must find the clues to recover the Iron Crown, which will finally unite the people of Hejstos and enable them to defend themselves against the orc invasion.
If you enjoy RPGs focused on exploration, combat, and character development, you will feel right at home.
Hejstos is a harsh, mountainous province located to the east of Elion, separated only by a large river from the orc lands. Two chieftains, Dognar and Garnarok, are fighting for control of the land.
There is one way to stop this civil war, and you have been sent to reclaim it.

I solid RPG in the early Early Access goings here. It's clear that this game has been made with some care. The menus etc tell me this. I appreciate that it even features voice acting at this stage. The combat could use some work..especially when it comes to fightin' the starting big bugs. It attacks a bit too quick before ya can get ur block up. I do enjoy the exploration part quite a bit tho. I'm intrigued as to where this one goes in the future. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/BfjwXg194Pk8 found this helpful
After playing through the entire game, I noticed a few things:

Fighting against single enemies is fairly easy with a shield, but with two enemies you can use the first enemy as a shield against the second by always placing him in the middle while fighting him. If you have three opponents or more, you should really use the tried and tested salami tactic and lure them in one at a time, unless you're a brave little tailor.
A function for quick saving / quick loading (e.g. with F5 / F9) would be practical.
Resume game with Escape in the menu.
Hide the button assignments during combat after 10 seconds, so that it doesn't get in the way the whole time.
More to discover: Parts of the map still seem too empty, so exploring is rarely worth it.
Friendly characters/trainers: There are practically only enemies on the map.
The text overlays in the monologues are a bit buggy; sometimes they no longer disappear or appear in the wrong places.
--- Initial impression: One can disce…8 found this helpful
For now (maybe 25-30 minutes in) my experience with Tales of Anturia : Hejstos was actually not that bad, almost okay if I may, but also mostly repetitive and boring and a little clunky like every really indie srating dev, as : - turn around to don't forget the shield at the starting camp - follow the road - grab some vegetables - kill ennemies (human and creatures) - loot the ennemies - visit some ruins - start a fire to cook food - upon safes - upgrade my sword at a forge - level up - follow the road and repeat - touch a stone for magic purpose So that it's for the moment, at least at the early begining of the adventure, but I'll see, I'll may discover new things the more I play and it may become more interisting, and as it's advertise at the main menu it's a early pre (if I remeber right) alpha build so thing may change and improved with time. Anyway I hope that devs will take what they learn doing Hejstos (he bad and the good) and that it will help them to make Farathan (and Hejstos) the best version possible, but again, we'll see, I wish you good luck with your two projects and learning how to make a game (I mean, two games) at the same time !
