The Forged Show of War is a compact third-person shooter set during the late Soviet-Afghan conflict.You play as a foreign fighter operating alongside local Mujahideen forces in the desert roads of Nimruz. Missions focus on small-scale firefights, ambushes, vehicle movement, and survival under pressure.Move through villages, dunes, and contested roads where limited ammunition, enemy patrols, and open terrain make each engagement dangerous. The game includes allied fighters, basic command interactions, vehicles, and mission-based combat scenarios.This release focuses on a short, grounded wartime experience built around desert combat and tactical movement.No political or religious endorsement is implied.

This is a small independent release developed by a very small team. The game focuses on short mission-based desert combat, basic ally coordination, and grounded third-person firefights.Some systems are intentionally simple, including AI behaviour, command recognition, damage values, and mission progression. Players should expect a compact indie military shooter rather than a large-scale tactical simulation.For best results with command features, use a dedicated microphone such as a headset mic or standalone mic.1. The game includes basic orders for allied fighters. Supported commands include:- Follow me
- Move
- Lock
- Engage / Fire
- Take Cover / Cover
2. AI teammate progression note

The game is quite easy to understand and to follow, and the storyline/plot, while it might be a bit confusing at the start for some users, is quite engaging and interesting to play as you progress in the game. Graphics could get some improvements but this game has a lot of potential. The AI feature that recognizes a user's voice is the top notch of this game.1 found this helpful
While its a simple story shooter, the game brings a lot of promise and some innovative features. Most notably, the AI Voice system is really unique and well incorporated into the game. The game itself is also fun and somewhat realistic, with realistic settings for your arsenal. Its also not that complex to pick up so I would recommend it for any beginner players who want a fun single player experience. Overall, it good.1 found this helpful
This game is fantastic. You can take different approaches to completing your objectives, for example by going solo, sending your squad in using the voice commands or both! I really enjoyed seeing the NPCs speak in their language native to the region which adds to the immersion, and the unique AI voice command system featuring many different commands. The quests are straightforward and I always knew where to go. The landscapes and level design are great, with realistic clutter, foliage, structures and NPCs being placed throughout every level, adding to the realism. There are also some things for the developers to improve on such as areas feeling barren at times, and adding other modes of transport like horses or usable vehicles to mitigate the long walking distances, there are also some clipping and lighting issues on some buildings. I highly recommend this game to everyone, especially those who are looking for new experiences!1 found this helpful
