About Tyrania - A Kinetic Visual Novel
Genre: Psychological, War
Duration: 2-3 hours
About: Text-Based, Animated Cutscenes, Linear Story, One Ending
"The world where I live in is a world ravaged by crime and terrorism..."
In a world where the government prioritizes war instead of safety, where crime and terrorism go out of control in every country, Edo is given the power to control technology itself. The 2 most powerful nations, realizing the potential threat to their stability, will try to seize his ability for their own goals. However, with his own set of ideals, Edo will join the conflict that has torn the world apart for decades and unknowingly, will change the course of mankind’s history forever... With an ideal about Justice and Vengeance, Edo plans a purge of criminals and terrorists, believing he is doing the right thing for society. Unfortunately, as his plans start to flourish, he is slowly isolated from the ones he loves, forcing him to question society’s morality and rethinking what is right and what is wrong.
In this dark and cruel world, life is fading away, promises are broken, but hope survives in the mind, and love in the heart.

not a bad story line would recommend the game to anyone4 found this helpful
TLDR: It’s not great, but still worth it imo. I like the protagonist—or rather his “archetype.” Being this Lelouch Lamperouge × Light Yagami type makes it interesting to follow his story (even if it’s a bit messy and rushed). The music part, though, is pretty awful… Basically, for most of the game it’s just silence. You can use the “music stop” technique to punctuate tense moments, but having about half of the VN without music just makes it feel unfinished. My guess as to why the music was used “sparingly” is to avoid becoming repetitive, but if you cannot compose enough original songs, there are millions of beautiful (and free/public-domain) tracks to choose from that you could either play yourself or find a royalty-free performance of to use in your visual novel. Overall it’s fine, but it feels unfinished. Hopefully the developer(s) take the feedback into account in their next project. Edit: P.S. The Steam page says that it’s voiced, but it’s actually not. Idk why, but don’t expect any voice acting.2 found this helpful
10/10 Would Seek Justice again.1 found this helpful
There are things that can be improved, but the game is like totally free, so it's alright.1 found this helpful
1 found this helpful
holy bored omg. I couldn't even get through it because I was dozing off. I'm also not a fan of VNs with one ending because at that point, it's not even a game; just a video that I have to click (and I don't even have to click technically because I can just turn on auto). I find that good games need to provide the player with some agency and show that their are consequences to the actions that they choose (unless, of course, the point of the game is that the player has no control, of which is different). I also just don't like the art, and I'm very picky about that, whether that be a manhwa that I'm reading or a game that I'm playing.
