Cyber City 2157: The Visual Novel

This entire game honestly feels like a huge ragebait but in an extremely unoffensive way, as if the writer just kept sneaking in nonsensical twists with zero relation to what'd happened prior purely for the sake of trolling. Everything about this game is abrupt, bizarre and makes the reader question whether their confusion stems from lack of understanding or if the writing is indeed mere (mostly) grammatically correct word salad. Additionally the story is very short, maybe <=1h (the rest of my playtime is just card farming lolol) and although there are different routes and and endings, none of them contribute anything valuable for comprehension, the script could get cut by 70% and not miss any substance. However it certainly has charm, I'm really fond of the visual presentation (the haters in the reviews just don't get it) and overall the surreal atmosphere is very solid. Plus the story concept seems intriguing (debatable whether it even follows a concept) and the deranged randomness following the illusion of something profound just works well in a silly way. A weird visual novel, with a really weird story that seemed to just end out of nowhere.

Just no. I've played for a bit and i already found many problems such as, - Lack of keyboard shortcut. - No log of story/conversation. - As other reviewer said, there's fair amount of writing/translation issue. - The pictures seems to be stock photos while the soundtrack/music doesn't really fit the story. I've no idea whether the story would be better/more interesting latter. But the creator should just release the story as novel instead since it's clear there's no serious effort/budget to make proper VN.

Bleugh. Very short. Atrocious English translation. Bad writing that prevents me from deciding whether its 'story' is open-ended or not finished.
