- STORY: Experience a dark narrative filled with twists, hidden lore, and choices that pull you deeper into a world where nothing is as it seems.
- VOICE ACTING: Every character's dialogues are voiced by our talented voice actors.
- MUSIC: The game features original soundtracks. You can unlock and listen to them in the game's music gallery.
- UPDATES: The game will be updated with new episodes, adding new gameplay to each of the 3 routes.
- CENSOR MODE: A censor mode can be activated at the beginning, allowing the player to experience censored versions of some scenes.
- IMAGE GALLERY: Unlock various images throughout the story and view them in the game's gallery.
- MEMORIES: Discover the past of the characters in snippets by using a certain ability.
- ABILITIES: Play with 1 of 3 abilities: Hybrid, Shape Shifting or Mind Glimpse. Depending on the ability, you can unlock certain scenes, memories or routes.
- MAIN CHARACTER: The main character will not be shown in the game. A custom name and pronouns (he/she/they) can be choosen.
- STORY: Discover what happened to you before your memories were taken from you and chose your new 'familiy'.
- ROUTES: Play 1 of 3 routes and discover the overall story through different perspectives.
AVAILABLE ROUTES - THE LABORATORIES: The organization that kidnapped you. Why on earth would you join and help them? (Because you want to spend time with the smart science people, we know.)They will use you for their benefit, but you can do so as well. What will you encounter in the endless corridors? And will you make it out alive or become one of them?
- TRUE PARADISE: You want a found family? This is the route you want to play. After all, everyone will show up here for shelter. Some of them are victims, some are former employees of the Labs. And - of course - a few of them are involved in shady business, playing every trick to accomplish their plans.
- THE BOUNTY HUNTERS: A mysterious organization, found by an individual who is told to be no human at all. Money, hunting, and lies make it hard to believe any of them.

Project Nihilum - Zero is an ambitious dive into a world of chaos and mystery. From the moment you begin, it’s clear this game is about mood and tension, drawing you into a bleak, immersive atmosphere where every step feels heavy with purpose. It’s raw and experimental, which makes it intriguing, though not without its rough edges. The gameplay mixes exploration with moments of high-stakes decision-making. It’s not overly complex but requires enough thought to keep you engaged. Some mechanics feel underexplained, leaving you to figure things out on your own, which can be rewarding—or frustrating, depending on your patience. Visually, the game leans into a dark, minimalist style that complements its ominous tone. The environments are striking, but at times the lack of variety can make sections feel repetitive. The sound design, however, is a standout. The eerie audio adds layers to the tension, making you constantly feel on edge, even when nothing is actively threatening you. The story is fragmented and cryptic, giving just enough hints to spark curiosity without revealing too much. "Project Nihilum - Zero" is yet another garbage high school anime club Choose-Your-Own-Adventure fan-fiction from someone who watched way too much Ghost In The Shell and decided to inflict that on Steam as if it was a game. E-books are not games. The cringe writing, of course, seems to centre around the author's imaginary anime boyfriends, so I guess there's at least ongoing consistency with these terrible cringefest e-books. Because gaming is a visual medium it's always important to talk about the visual presentation that a game has. Unfortunately, this isn't a game, it's an E-book, the primary focus is text. And we know the text is badly written because if the would be "author" of this E-book could write to any decent standard, they'd be a published author with books on bookshelves. Instead, they've had to resort to paying $100 to dump their E-book onto Steam as if it was a game, when they know full well it isn't. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. A decent game, having been playing visual novels for a while, this feels like it's got good quality. exceeded my expectations slightly in regards of story quality, I'd say a solid 6 out of 10, but since it's far from complete take this with a grain of salt. Sound design is a solid 7.5 out of 10, Art is a 5 out of ten. it's not bad, but also not amazing, mostly just average. if this game was more complete, my scores would probably go up across the board. but it's a good game to play when you're bored one afternoon. I hope the dev keeps working on this game, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like he is.
