I love RPG's and I always thought of giving a VN a try, this one did not disappoint. Even though the story is just unfolding, it keeps me well engaged to try and understand the motives of all the characters involved and thus advancing the story as how I would feel the characters would react. I have died a couple of times already, but even those "mistakes" give you bits of the story worth looking for. The characters and backgrounds are very well drawn and animated, and the music surrounding them really creates the environment to delve into the story. This game has a lot of polish to it. Its artwork is excellent and the soundtrack really goes above and beyond expectations. This visual novel has a very "fresh" feeling to it, and starts introducing the reader to a rather interesting world. I really like this game. It almost felt like Vinland Saga and Hero Academia had a baby... Let me explain myself The concept of a Utopia clearly made me think of Vinland Saga, but also the art style and character writing, while the magic/power system made me think of quirks in hero academia. Now, moving on to the review, I would start by talking about the characters, this game's cover art makes it clear from the get-go that we will be focusing on three different characters throughout the story, so did the trailers, but I was honestly pleasantly surprised by how they handled that. From the first chapter each character is introduced I was already attached and hooked on their stories. We first meet Frederick, and I'm not gonna lie, I loved the dynamics he has with the rest of the cast, his family feels real, their banter funny, and their love genuine, and this is not achieved through multiple chapters, from the first one their relationships are pretty well established, which makes the danger they face from the second chapter and onwards all the more tense, overall, I've loved what I've seen of this character so far. Well, I was absorbed and entranced! The story is rich, being a turmoil between nations, politics and war. I've gotten to chapter 6 so far but I feel like this is getting deeper and deeper! So far, what I've liked the most is how the narrative is, it feels like watching an anime episode as for how they describe the scenarios and the battles. I love it! The music is incredible to say the least, and the sound effects really garnish the animation. I will say I'm glad I gave this game a chance and you can tell there is a lot of love behind this, keep at it MC!2 found this helpful
