[h3] I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT. [/h3] Game: 156 / 447 [b] Category: Dog [/b] Top-down pixel game about a boy and a dog… I think? Hard to tell what’s actually going on. The art’s rough, levels feel half-finished, and your dog can trap you in corners because apparently walking through your furry companion is off-limits. There’s a weird blue border with text that's almost unreadable, and the whole game feels like it’s still in a rough draft phase. It honestly seems like someone’s first attempt at making a game—which is fine! But if that's the case, I’d seriously recommend studying older RPGs like Pokémon. There are tons of free assets and tutorials out there, especially for RPGmaker, that could help tighten up the visuals, movement, and basic design flow. I didn’t make it far. My first battle was a mess, with the AI clearly as confused as I was. Then I took a random quiz asking how many parents a guy had (???)—I answered 1, because I’d only seen one, and the game told me I was wrong, rolled credits, and sent me back to my first save. What?
