História sensacional mas não desejo a experiência do combate desse jogo nem pro meu pior inimigo. Jogo antigo com falhas principalmente na curva de dificuldade mas em geral ainda é um ótimo antecessor do Bloodlines.
I'm on a journey to play all "World of Darkness" videogames, because I found the setting quite fun. I was ready to be disappointed with this game, since it is very old, and I have to admit I had a great time. It's a classic RPG dungeon crawler linear with some dialogue choices to make, a little bit repetitive but fun. The best part, in my opinion, is the narrative. Christof, the protagonist, doesn't give a F about his sire, his clan, or anything. His unbeating heart is only moved by his devotion to God and his love for Anezka. This is one of the points that the story appeals to me, because the game starts in the 13th century, and they don't follow the strict rules of the masquerade in current time. Also, the protagonist comes from Clan Brujah, which is more open-minded than other sects. So the interactions between characters feel very different from the current setting. Also, another great narrative plot device is that the game starts in the 13th century, but the story continues in the 20th century, which gives some fun moments and interactions. Unfortunately, the game has a big annoyance, the AI, which is TERRIBLE. It's bad for pathfinding which leads to enemies, allie…
It's pretty dated but still fun.
