About Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars
Lead one of three vampire clans through strategic empire management and tactical turn-based battles across a gothic world torn by war. Unique card-game mechanics let you chain powerful abilities together, while commanding distinctive units and unlocking technologies across multiple campaigns and game modes.

For as long as historians can remember, the ancient Dracul bloodline has ruled over the mysterious lands of Warmont – Realm of the Bloodthrone. Inside the secluded borders of this land, an unholy court of vampires feast on the blood of their human subjects. And, as long as they give it willingly, a vicious peace between mortal and immortal is kept alive under the watchful eye of the vampiric rulers - Vlad and Cecilia Dracul, forever bound by eternal love.

To the east, a cold wind blows over the desolate planes of Mourterra – The Land of the Dead. No humans live on this barren and cursed soil, and yet the land is far from deserted. Horrifying remnants of the ancient and corrupt Nosfernus bloodline stalk here in silence, patiently waiting for their chance to once again plague the lands of the living.

Meanwhile, in Esain - The Frozen North, another bloodline of vampires resides in solitude and isolation from the world. For the mystical clan of the Moroia, magic is blood, and blood is magic... and it runs thick in their cold, blue veins. No being – living or dead – dares interrupt their dark rituals and bloody soirées.

Tonight, the smell of blood is strong on the wind, and a red moon lights up the dark sky. A new vampire war is imminent, and none will be spared from the coming horrors.

Simple Heroes style Combat with Card Abilities and Vampires - it scratches a the vampire itch quite well. - Fun and light overall - a bit grindy for the achievements - worth it on sale - The AI cheats but you can just cheese it, not difficult just cumbersome like Warhammer Total war. Worth dropping a few coins if you are hungry for some vampire goodness, the campaigns are fun and light. Grab it on a sale and enjoy!3 found this helpful
Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is an ambitious hybrid strategy title that blends grand-scale empire management with turn-based tactical battles and card-driven abilities, all wrapped in a dark gothic fantasy setting. Developed by Palindrome Interactive and published by Kalypso Media, the game sets out to carve a unique niche by combining familiar strategy frameworks with vampire mythology, emphasizing faction identity and thematic flavor as much as mechanical depth. The result is a game that often feels bold in concept, occasionally uneven in execution, but consistently distinctive in tone. The world of Nemire serves as the stage for three playable vampire clans, each anchoring its own campaign and philosophy. The Dracul embody aristocratic conquerors who favor discipline and military dominance, the Nosfernus represent grotesque undead hordes thriving on attrition and terror, and the Moroia lean into arcane power and manipulation. These campaigns are structured in a largely linear fashion, unfolding as a series of narrative-driven missions rather than a fully open-ended sandbox. While this approach allows for focused storytelling and curated challenges, it can also feel restrictive…1 found this helpful
This is my second playthrough / first ownership of this game. It's really fun, don't let the reviews fool you. Most of those ratings are very old. This game has been offered on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. It's a great title. Maybe it's not everyone's favorite, but i think this game deserves a positive feedback overall. That's just my opinion. I'll come back and update once I playthrough.
While the game has a rather compact amount of content it's very nicely done and a fun experience. The story campaign isn't anything groundbreaking but well written and it keeps you motivated and engaged. I like the small ingame cinematics. They're charming. All factions feel like they have their own strenghts and weaknesses and balanced. While the exact placement of units for flanking may need some getting used to handling is quite intuitive. Graphics are fine for what the game wants to be, although some unit images can be a bit similiar (especially the bat ones). Certainly something I'd love to see expanded upon in the future.
A good game. Voice acting is very fitting and well done, the graphics are very good and so are the music/sound effects. The combat is the main thing and it is well done. I have nothing bad to say about the game. The general feel is like playing a nice, vampire-themed boardgame. If that sounds appealing, get it for yourself! :)
Devs released two patchs and dipped, ♥♥♥♥♥ unpolished and slow - get it on sale for a boredom killer or if total warhammer doesn't satisfy your rts boner
