PLASMATIC VR

I think this MAY be a good puzzle game in the future when it's more refined, however, right now as is, it is too cumbersome to play in VR to enjoy the puzzles. The controls really take away all the fun that might have been from solving the puzzles. I only got to level 10 out of 22 levels, but so far most of the difficulty has been fighting the control design of the game. It's more of a physical exertion than a mental one. Some of the levels have timers of 15 minutes. I don't think it takes 15 minutes to solve the puzzles, but actually moving all the puzzle pieces with the current controls takes very long. It really does drain almost all the fun away. The fact that you can only teleport and snap turn also adds to this overall clunkiness. It's difficult at times to even view the whole puzzle, you may have to teleport from one side to another, back and forth several times. Game is running on the Unity Engine. Plasmatic is a paid VR game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. The control system is cumbersome, which makes the game harder than it looks. Has 27 steam achievements. Maybe buy this on sale, if you like puzzles, but try the Demo first. I also want to note that I played this in the HTC VIVE (the original black one, not later models).
