Survivor Strain - Season 1

I haven't reviewed many AVNs but this one is leaving me wanting to: Pro's: -Writing is some of the best I have found, I have played many AVNs. -The variance in the character models is good, There are two that look fairly similar, but most of them vary in size and shape. -Choices can matter, I'm not sure how much they matter though, but they seem to chance the story line somewhat. -Good looking graphics. -Price, the standard price is good and if it goes on sale it is a great purchase. -Hoping for more story because of such a promising premise. Cons: -Short -Updates are slowed to a halt, so I am wondering if this game was just abandoned in March or if they wrote themselves into a corner and are just writer-blocked. -Some choices don't seem to make any difference besides taking away a scene or 2. Would still suggest just for the promising story and hopefully we hear something soon about development.

This AVN was just amazing. I can not wait for season 2 and 3. I really hope they are all eventually released and I will be buying day one. My biggiest compliant about season 1 is that i want more now. Highly recommend.

I liked it. Animations might not be the greatest but it has an amazing storyline. Developer has the talent to keep going with this game. I really hope to see a season 2

I am absolutely blown away by the visual quality of this game. The character designs are sexy and well-crafted, making every encounter in the story feel special and exciting. It’s not just the concepts, but the textures are so detailed and smooth that they add a whole new layer of realism to the models. The renders look stunning, and you can tell a lot of work went into making the characters look as appealing as possible.

Highly Recommend! Short version; compelling story alongside enticing adult visuals. Even more impressive considering this game is the result of a one man developer team. This game is well worth the cost. Lengthy too, played 21 hours before hitting the end of Season 1. TLDR version - *Possible Spoiler Alert* This is the third of this type of adult visual novel game that I have played. Compared to the other two, I find that this game has the best story of the three. Set in a survivalist post zombie apocalypse there is an obvious 'last man on earth' sort of undercurrent. Despite there being other male characters in the game, none of them seem to be on the menu for the slew of female characters. Providing our protagonist the chance to get all the attention for himself. And, I encountered no moments of jealousy between them, even when discussing their sexual encounters or developing relationships with the protagonist among one another. A polyamorous person's dream. However, beyond this male centric fantasy, the characters show real emotional depth.
