[b]Psebay[/b] gets a recommended from me. It's hard to describe. Think "Trials" / "MX Nitro" arcade motorcycle game... meets "Limbo"... meets "And Yet It Moves" (remember that world-flipping indie classic?)

Back in 2007, before touchscreens and Android, phone games came in Java format. There was this little 2D motorcycle game I loved called Gravity Defied. It had the simplest graphics, but it was enough, because the gameplay was fun, the physics worked well, and the levels were challenging. Looking for something to buy with a couple of bucks left in my Steam wallet, I found Psebay, and it was love at first glance. The graphics are much more polished, but it still retains its simplicity. The motorcycle has some customisation option, and the levels are really difficult, with the added bonus of cool gravity changes. It's a thumbs up, a nostalgic one. Psebay, developed and published by Eugeny Butakov, is a physics-based side-scrolling motorcycle game that quietly sets itself apart through atmosphere, visual identity, and subtle mechanical twists. It's a nice little game. You can beat all the levels in maybe 5-10h. It is basically [b]TG Motocross[/b] with a world-rotate twist and with a dynamic motorcycle that can break on hard impact. The physics feel good. Just wish the endless mode was a bit more challenging, once you figure it out you can basically drive endless due to the checkpoint system. If you have a cheaper UHD integrated graphics card like me you have to turn the details and resolution down, but I barely noticed the difference. Recommend if it is on Sale and you like these types of games.

Got sick of Ubi-slop's launcher continuing to ruin the Trials series and came across this... 😅 Firstly, this is definitely NOT worth the £17 price tag. I bought this for £1 and feel as though maximum £4-5 is around the value you're getting. This is a surprisingly relaxing 2D Trials-like game with a unique atmosphere and gameplay elements. Controls feel sluggish at first but once you start upgrading the bike I spent most of my playtime wedged in a few crevasses after one failed jump or another, but I had a great time doing it. Simple, stylish, and well worth playing... but only if you grab it on sale!
