Race the Planet

This game reminds me a lots of the 1999 Sport Cars GT game made by ISI, those guy then went on to make rFactor. The simplicity look of the game really interested me, plus the big 40+ cars grid and huge amount of tracks it advertised, because it made me expect a pure, simple racing (like Sport Cars GT) where the focus is on the enjoyment of driving a race car, and the fun of racing. You just choose a track, choose a car and you race. And I really enjoy and appreciate something like that, Race the Planet does giving me that vibe, and it does deliver on that expectation, somewhat. This game has a tons of potential and can be really amazing, if receive the proper cares and polish. Like fixing and improving the AI further, right now, it is somewhat serviceable. They literally can't keep their car straight, keep weaving around, but they are still, decently fast. They cannot do clean racing for the life of it, running straight into the car ahead, pushing them out of the way, causing massive crashes, it is funny to witness though. The physics definitely needs improvement, while I think it feels decent to drive, and have some fun mastering it. It just feels a bit too stiff, too understeer…
