Shooty Squad

Shooty Squad is a small first person shooter that keeps things pretty simple. I am thrown into compact maps with a selection of guns and the main goal is basically to shoot everything that needs shooting. There is online multiplayer with free for all, team deathmatch and capture the flag, along with an offline zombie mode. I like that it does not try to turn itself into some massive military shooter. It is much more of a quick and silly FPS with low poly visuals, ragdoll physics and plenty of explosions. The gunplay is probably the best part for me. There are different weapons including machine guns, sniper rifles and an RPG, and each one gives me a different reason to move around the map and look for useful positions. The maps are designed around weapon locations and different routes, so knowing where the stronger weapons are can make a real difference. I like that there is at least some thought behind the arenas instead of just putting players into a completely open space and letting them shoot each other. The ragdoll physics also give the game some personality. Enemies getting thrown around after being hit can look ridiculous, and that fits the simple visual style quite well. …

Ok so, first off, due to this game being out of date as long as it has been, i cannot and will not recommend this game to anyone, beyond a quick test, I hope the Devs are doing ok, and i hope they will update this game, its got some potentual, but i cannot in good faith keep this game.
