The God

The God is, well, Black & White from Temu. It's a "god simulator" sandbox with a very weak and clunky implementation. Create landscapes and landforms, populate them with plants, animals and humans, and then uh... just look at them I guess. There's a few scenarios but they're shallow and pointless. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. Remember, we're looking for the best of the best of 110,000+ games on Steam. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what…

Controls are horrible. Adding creatures/objects? 1 at a time. That includes both flora and fauna. Of which there is a very limited selection. Camera? SO BAD. Do not waste your time or money. Avoid.

... It's crap. Not my kinda thing, do not recommend buying it. ... Perhaps if it was under £1 but from what I've experienced, it's lag as heck.

It's a nice game, but it's been abandoned by the Devs. Not close to complete in features, they lowered the price recently, but in my complete honest opinion, it's still priced too high.
