Holidays. That´s something we all like and need. But sometimes we must stay at home like in the Pandemic Times. We were sitting at home and dreaming of travelling and seeing wonderfull places. For that we also have Games. Games like this. Welcome to BIG ADVENTURE: TRIP TO EUROPE 4! Of course, a real Travel is always better then a virtual, but that doesn´t mean virtuals are bad. Let us shorten the Name first from BIG ADVENTURE: TRIP TO EUROPE 4 to BA:TTE4. ^^ So let us have look at BA:TTE4. Simple and short. Family on Holiday in Europe. And you accompany them. BA:TTE4 is a pure Hidden Object Game (HOG). On your Journey through Europe you have to find things to finish a Level. Well, that sounds like a typical HOG doesn´t it? While you search for the typical Hidden Objects you also have secondary Ones. In each Level is also a Raccon and a Stamp. There are also special Objects shown as a Shadows as a Bonus. Bog standard Hidden Object Game, it's ok. No story. In game achievements only - each scene has a raccoon and a stamp to find and also each scene has three objects to find to which you are shown a silhouette. Some (or all?) scenes have a souvenir to find - a page shows you which souvenirs you do and don't (silhouette) have. It's easy to go back to scenes later to find anything you missed.

A pretty standard hidden object game with a couple of extra puzzles sprinkled in. Either you're into hidden object games, or you aren't. This does what it's supposed to do and plays pretty much like the last three Trip to Europe games. Each scene is of a travel destination and you click on objects to tick off a list just like any other hidden object game. --- Product received free as curator.

After getting their first wardrobe change, our family of four is on another big adventure. I really have nothing new to say about this game. All the levels and puzzles work properly. It's still uncomfortable to look at these surreal scenes of pasted photo-realistic clip art. I'll just note that the optional souvenirs system is now burdensome. The souvenir objects aren't indicated on the hidden object scenes, and no longer overlap with items needed to complete the scene. So, players have to do some research to figure out what objects to find. I have to open the souvenir menu, then mouse over every outlined item until finding an object at the location I'm in. Not every location has a souvenir. I didn't realize this until I was on the second-to-last level. When accessing the souvenirs from the main menu, I can't select a needed souvenir to directly go to that level. have to scroll through the terrible level select menu. Balls to it! Thankfully there isn't an achievement associated with collecting all souvenirs.
