Heist Master

Well.. It's pretty good, although I found myself pretty bored after unlocking all of the characters. It was fun while it lasted, I suppose it's good to kill some time. Having videos run in the background or something makes it a bit more enjoyable, hence this games soundtrack is pretty limited. A good game overall, a few more areas to explore would be nice. Characters is pretty much the only progression in this game. I would like to see steam achievements like killing a certain amount of guards/workers or getting to heist 25, 50, 100 so on and so on. I assume this game won't be getting any updates at least, not anymore, but if they do I hope to see things like that in it. Hell, even a Heist Master 2 would be pretty cool. It reminds me of the mobile games I used to play. (I'm pretty sure they just ported a game and changed it a bit and made it available to computer.) Still fun game. Try it out if your looking for some fun for a while. Another thing to note is if this game is deck compatible (I don't own one so I have no idea) it would be a good game for on the go. …

[i] My Experience [/i] I'm often drawn to stealth games, especially when I'm given clear information on what enemies can perceive. Although it's clearly a budget title, the trailer and screenshots for [b]Heist Master[/b] led me to believe that it could provide this type of information. And honestly, it does - it's clear when you're in an enemy view cone (the cone turns red), how far the sound travels when you step on a metal floor or shatter glass, and when you're hidden by smoke and can remain safe from enemies or automated turrets. Your thief can dispatch enemies quickly with attacks from behind, and can don costumes that allow him to traverse certain areas without detection (for a limited period of time - these costumes seem to disintegrate after a period of time for some reason). I was generally able to complete the levels quickly, especially when the four-digit passcodes and keys are so clearly visible in the game's isometric perspective. Within each set of levels you can purchase upgrades from time to time to enhance your thief or reduce the effectiveness of enemies or cameras in the levels that remain in the set.
